Bajaj has increased the price of the hot naked KTM Duke 200 by Rs. 8000. The KTM Duke 200 is the first product from the Austrian bike maker in the Indian market. Since launch the Duke has been selling good numbers and has been a favourite amongst enthusiast.
The Duke 200 was launched at an introductory price of Rs. Rs. 1.17 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The price may seem a bit on the higher side, but for a max power 25 hp and a peak torque of 19.2 Nm one certainly won’t mind. The Duke has one of the best power to weight ratios and is very quick. The bike gets a 200cc single-cylinder, 4-stroke, spark-ignition engine, liquid-cooled engine mated to a 6-speed Transmission.

The KTM motorcycles are known for performance, purity, adventure, extreme, radical pure design with sporty edge. Bajaj which owns 47% state in the Austrian bike maker also plans to adds more models and 350cc is next in the pipeline. Currently there is no direct competition the Duke, but considering the price, one can compare it to Honda CBR 150R and Yamaha YZF-R15.
