Mahindra 2 Wheelers have been working on the Mojo to be launched in India in a couple of months. The company has already commenced testing of the bike at its Pune R&D centre.
An interesting development has been learned, thanks to the image which was leaked by Powerdrift which is supposedly leaked from the official presentation of a soon to be launched bike. From the image it seems like the Mojo will get redesigned front which gives the bike a dual purpose look similar to those found on the likes of BMW. The dual headlamps are now enclosed in a fairing and mirrors with mounted indicators.
The Mahindra Mojo will be powered by a 300cc DOHC 4 valved engine with Ducati Energia EFI, and gas charged mono-shock Expect a lot more features to be packed in like the Centuro and Pantero to make the Mojo more value for money.
Mahindra will have to compete with the Duke 390 which will go on sale in second half of 2013. Another competitor would be the new Kawasaki Ninja 300 R which replaces the Ninja 250 R.
Mahindra Mojo 300 is based on the Malaguti MR250 super motor motorcycle and the new styling is certainly a good move. We are yet to get clarity whether the bike will be a dual purpose or just boast the looks of a dual purpose motorcycle.
