The automotive scene in India has drastically improved in the last 10 yrs, the big car and motorcycle companies have realized India’s increasing market and many luxury and sports vehicle manufactures have invested a lot of money in India.I personally have always had a complaint though, that these manufactures used to always give us the second models, for example the civic in India was a model older then the Civic anywhere else in the world and this was the story with most of the cars being imported into India.
Now the case seems to have changed , at least now if i buy a Honda city over here in India i will able to send a pic of my car to my cousins in the UK . The expectation level for this expo though is at a different level altogether. The India Expo 2014 is expected to have about 70 different vehicles on display ,but the top ten to look out for at this expo are
Maruti Suzuki Celerio hatchback that will get 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder K-Series petrol engine that develops of 67bhp and 90Nm of peak torque. Celerio will introduce Auto Gear Shift, which will have the flexibility of both manual mode and auto drive mode in the same car, with a simple shift of gear lever. Maruti claims a mileage figure of 23.1kmpl.
The Datsun Go which will be priced under Rs. 4 lakhs in India and will be powered by a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder engine, paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox churning out 68 PS and 104 Nm. The engine though is the same as that on the Nissan Micra
Honda’s redesigned Jazz , which Honda plans to price right this time. The car wasn’t bad before , its just that with the various engine options its a tad better this time.

Honda Mobilio a MPV based on the Honda Brio Platform will be available with the 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol and 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel engines. Both engines will be mated to a five-speed manual transmission.
