Hyundai India will launch its ‘small car‘ by the year-end, according to Mr. H. W. Park, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer.
The small which will compete with Maruti’s number one selling car Alto will get a 800cc engine and will be priced closed to the 2.5 lakh mark. The small car will help Hyundai to increase its market share and a larger presence in the low end segment where currently only the Santro is available.
We expect the new model to be available in A/C and with optional power steering, similar to the Maruti Suzuki Alto.
