Hyundai Elantra Goa launch soon, bookings open, deliveries to commence after Ganesh Chaturti.

Hyundai Motor India introduced the New 6th Generation Elantra in the Indian market, while most of the times the launch in our home state happens on the same day. The dealers have told us the new Elantra bookings have opened and the launch will happen in the 1st week of September with deliveries after Chaturti.

The new Fluidic 2.0 design language on the Elantra is very striking with Bold, Modern and Futuristic design.

The front comes with signature chrome hexagonal grille, HID headlamps together with LED light guides. The side profile is designed with a sense of sporty & coupe like silhouette with a Best-in-Class drag coefficient of 0.29.

Key exterior features include – High Intensity Discharge (HID) headlamps, LED Daytime Running light with Positioning lamps, Projector Fog lamps, Split type LED Tail Lamps, Gunmetal Finish 16” Alloy Wheel & Silica Tyres and Chrome Outside Door Handles.

The All New Elantra’s sculpted body forms are complimented smoothly by contoured lines that reveal the underlying inspiration of Hyundai’ designers. The wide & horizontal front is in harmony with slim headlamps, 3D hexagonal grille creating futuristic, elegant appearance with the split type LED tail lamps further adding to the Styling and Premiumness of All New Elantra.

The interiors are not as contemporary compared to the outgoing model but look elegant due to the black theme and are more spacious. A new unique feature offered on the executive sedan is the Smart trunk (First-in-Segment) that automatically unlocks and pops-out when the owner stands with-in 3 feet behind the vehicle with smart key for more than 3 seconds. (a similar feature can be found on the Superb but requires you to move your leg underneath the trunk.)

Infotainment system includes a new 8.0’’ High Definition capacitive touch screen with Audio Video Navigation System (AVN) and rear view camera. The Multimedia system is equipped with Apple Carplay and Android Auto for app based navigation, streaming audio, voice controlled search capabilities and smartphone applications.

The Elantra comes with 6 speakers along with surround system by ‘Arkamys’.

Key interior and convenience features include- Electric Sunroof (New), Dual Zone FATC with Cluster Ionizer, Front Ventilated Seat, Engine Start/Stop Button, Premium Leatherite Upholstery, Rear AC Vents, Electro Chromic Mirror, Premium Door Scuff Plates and Aluminium Pedals

Under the hood the car is powered by a 2.0L petrol engine and 1.6L U2 Common Rail Technology diesel engine.

Keeping in mind Hyundai’s Safe-Drive Philosophy the Elantra comes with 53% of Advanced High Strength Steel (AHSS), an additional 32% increase over the previous generation model with key safety features such as 6 Airbags, Dual Airbags and Anti-lock brake system (ABS) with EBD as Standard across all variants, Reverse parking camera with steering adaptive guidelines & Reverse Parking Sensors, Electronic Stability control (ESC), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), Hill Start Assist Control (HAC), Front Projection Fog Lamps (New), High Intensity Discharge (HID) Head Lamps (New) and Impact Sensing Door Unlock/Speed Sensing Lock.

The All New Elantra will be available in 9 variants with 5 exterior colour options.
