Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI), has unveiled the upgraded version of its Aviator scooter in New Delhi. The new scooter which has 110cc engine delivers a power of 8 bhp and also provides a balance between smooth performance and less fuel consumption. The new Aviator is priced 15 per cent less than the earlier model and comes in additional 2 new colours – Neo Orange Metallic and Pearl Heron Blue. Existing colours are Rebel Red Metallic, Pearl Black and Monsoon Gray Metallic.
The new scooter comes equipped with the Combi-brake which enhances the comfort level of the rider. Among the other features are the front disc-brake with 3 piston calipers and the alloy wheels (in Dlx variant). The front and rear brakes get activated jointly when the left lever is applied. The deluxe variant has a number of additional bits like front-cover chrome, body-color grab, instrument panel garnish, alloy wheels and inner cover painted in order to add to the style and premium appeal of the scooter.
While the ex- showroom prices (Delhi) of ‘Aviator Standard’ is Rs. 42,160, while that of ‘Aviator Deluxe’ is Rs. 47,160.
The scooter also sports a ‘Tuff Up’ tube (a Honda-patented puncture resistant tube) in rear tyre, which minimises the incidents of sudden punctures to the extent of 70 per cent.
