Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) introduced the new NAVI automatic moped in Goa. Honda Navi is a revolutionary ‘new kind of ride’ providing unlimited possibilities & unmatched freedom according to the company.
Navi is the first 100% Honda R&D India model – from concept development to commercial production.
Navi is designed for the aspiring youth, who want to have FUN and standout. To cater to this social media savvy generation, an exclusive android mobile booking application for Navi has been created. Launched at the Auto Expo 2016, the Navi application has registered more than 20,000 downloads. Overwhelming response from customers has been received with the bookings crossing 4 digit figure of 1000 in just over a month’s time which is a testimony in itself.
Navi is powered by 110cc Honda Engine with Honda Eco Technology (HET). The moped delivers max power of 5.84 kW (8 Ps) @ 7000 rpm and max torque of 8.96 Nm @ 5500 rpm. The engine is mated to an Automatic (V-matic) transmission and has a max speed of 81 kmph.
The moped gets Telescopic Suspension at front which makes your ride not just super fun but super smooth too. The Navi has a fuel tank capacity of 3.8 Litres and mileage of 60 km/l.
Tubeless Tyres are standard with 90/90 12 inch in front and 90/100 10 at the rear.

The Honda Navi was launched across Goa and is currently on sale in all major showrooms in Panjim (Priority Honda) and Margoa (Rajee Honda).

Honda is also offering a range of accessories for the Navi. The company also showcased the NAVI street, NAVI adventure & NAVI off-road at the Expo.
There is no direct competition for the Navi currently in the market, but if the segment does see a good response we could expect other companies to introduce such models.
