Honda launches the much awaited Amaze sedan in India. The Amaze is available in variants, four petrol, two automatic and four diesel. ‘Smart Compact Limousine’ is what Honda is calling the Amaze for the Indian market.

Prices ex-showroom Delhi
The Honda Amaze is manufactured at Honda’s greater Noida plant in Uttar Pradesh with over 90% localization. The petrol and diesel engines and the manual transmissions are made at Honda’s Tapukara plant in Rajasthan.
The 1.2L i-VTEC petrol engine produces 88PS @ 6,000 RPM and 109 Nm @ 4,500 RPM. The AT is offered on the petrol engine only and is not available with the diesel engine. Fuel efficiency for the petrol MT is 18 kmpl while the 5-speed petrol AT variant delivers 15.5 kmpl.
The 1.5L i-DTEC engine produces 100PS @ 3,600 rpm and 200Nm @ 1,750 rpm. Fuel economy to 25.8 kmpl (ARAI certified) is the highest by any car available in India.
