Honda is planning to launch another hybrid, and this time it is a small car. Honda will launch the Jazz also known as Fit in its hybrid version at the Paris motor show at the end of September. The Jazz hybrid will share many of its components with the Insight, including that car’s 1.3-litre petrol engine-based hybrid powertrain which is paired a CVT transmission.
Changes on the exterior include new headlamps, grille and new bumpers. At the rear the jazz gets clear lens tailamps and ‘chrome tailgate garnish.
Can we expect this car in India? Why not. Considering the Prius is doing good numbers Honda may try their second innings with the Jazz Hybrid after failing with Civic Hybrid. This time Honda need to be cautious with the pricing.
