India’s premium car maker Honda sold 3,576 units in India. Sales of the segment leader City has dropped drastically. Is this the Vento and SX4 Diesel effect or is it due to the production constraints?
The new Accord has registered decent numbers while the Jazz sold only 152 units.

Honda Siel Cars India (HSCI), leading manufacturer of premium cars in India, sold cumulatively 59,463 units during the period April’10- March’11 as against 61,815 units sold during the corresponding period last year.
Model wise sales break-up for March’11:
Jazz: 152; City: 2773; Civic: 379; Accord: 216; CR-V: 56
Honda Siel Cars India expanded its sales and distribution network across the country during the fiscal year 2010 – 11 to 125 facilities in 77 cities.
