Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has introduced their second mass segment motorcycle, Dream Neo in the Indian market. The new 110cc motorcycle is based on the Dream Series platform and will compete with the world’s largest selling motorcycle, Hero Splendor.
With the launch of another mass segment bike, Honda is looking for a larger share in the mass segment which commands a nearly 50% in Indian two Wheeler market.
The Dream Neo comes with the same engine which powers the Dream Yuga, but is equipped with by revolutionary Honda Eco Technology which helps to deliver a mileage of 74kmpl. The engine produces max power of 6.15KW (8.25 BHP) @7500 RPM and torque of 8.63Nm@5500 RPM.
Dream Neo will be available in three variants –
- Self / Drum / Alloy with tubeless tyre
- Kick / Drum / Alloy with tubeless tyre
- Kick / Drum / Spoke with tuff-up tube
The bike is not launched in Goa as yet. We are expecting the launch to happen very soon.
