Harley Davidson is all set to open its new dealership in Goa very soon. The American motorcycle maker will open its tenth dealership in the most famous tourist state of India, Goa. The dealership is already set-up and is expected to be fully operational by September 1st week.
There is good number of fans in Goa and already there are many inquiries from prospective Harley buyers in Goa. The India Bike Week which could become a permanent venue for bike lovers all over India hosted the HOG 2013 which also coincided with the 100 years celebrations of the Iconic brand.
Harley Davidson dealership is located at Miramar Dona Paula road and is a complete 3S facility: Sales, Service and Spares. The dealership will also sell Harley merchandise and mementos.
At present, the Company has nine authorized dealerships in India. All the existing Harley-Davidson showrooms are in line with the global standards and together they form an important hub to showcase the legendary culture and lifestyle of the brand and engage with the customers and Harley enthusiasts across the country.
Harley-Davidson currently offers a range of 12 models from each of its 5 families – Sportster®, Dyna®, Softail®, V-Rod® and Touring. Each of the five Harley-Davidson motorcycle families boasts of a distinct character and caters to the varied sensibilities of a broad range of customers.
Harley-Davidson India commenced operations in August 2009 and appointed the first dealership in July 2010. Since early 2011, Harley-Davidson has been assembling motorcycles in India at its CKD (Completely-Knocked-Down) assembly unit at Bawal in Haryana. India is the second country where Harley-Davidson has CKD assembly operations outside the US, after Brazil.
