Renault Kwid is one of the best-selling entry hatchback in Goa
Renault has been riding high on the success of the entry hatchback Kwid since its launch in September 2015 in the Indian market. The Kwid was soon launched in the Goan market and the Renault appointed Priority Auto ventures as their new dealer partners for the state of Goa.
The Kwid since its launch in Goa in November 2015 has more than 880 happy customers and has garnered more than 525 confirmed bookings.
In the last 3 months alone the Kwid has managed to get 10% market share in the entry hatch segment which is dominated by the like of Maruti Suzuki Alto 800, Alto K10 and Hyundai Eon.
According to company officials the Kwid RxT which is the top model is the best-selling variants followed by the RxL. Goans have chosen Outblack Bronze over White which is commonly the most preferred color.
Renault Margao, Sales Head Mr. Gaurang Kunkolienkar said ‘With the launch of Kwid Renault has got overwhelming response for the car and the brand has been well accepted. We have touched 10% market share in the last 3 months and aim to touch 15% by year end.’
The Kwid with SUV inspired design comes with many segment first features which include best-in-class ground clearance of 180 mm, boot capacity of 300 litres, 7 inch touchscreen Media Nav system and a digital instrument cluster. The top model (RxT) is available with an optional Airbag.
The Kwid is powered by a new 3 cylinder 800cc SCe – Smart Control Efficiency petrol engine mated to a 5 speed gear box and delivers a high mileage of 25.17 kmpl.
Renault dealerships in Goa
Renault recently inaugurated the two showrooms in Goa – RENAULT PANJIM CITY and RENAULT MARGAO (though operations began in November 2015).
Priority Auto ventures is sole partner for Renault cars in Goa and is a part of the Priority Group headed by Mr. Parind Nachinolcar.
