Land Rover will give a facelift to its smallest offering Free lander in 2011.
There is no much change expect for some subtle changes to the face. New head lamos, new grille and bumper. The foglamps and front air intakes are new, too. The side profile is identical to the outgoing Freelander’s, but there’s further change at the rear: the boot handle trim now extends the full width of the car, not just the numberplate.
The Land Rover Freelander will be launched at the Moscow motor show in August 2010. The Ford/PSA-derived 2.2-litre turbodiesel is likely to be upgraded and the popular start-stop model will continue.
We could expect this model to be assembled in India, as Tata has announced assembling of the Land Rover Freelander in India.
