Ford Cars India launched a new Black Edition variant of the Ecosport compact SUV in India recently and was also introduced in Goa.
The Ecosport Black Edition is available on the Trend+, Titanium and Titanium+ variants only.
The Ecosport Black Edition receives black treatment for the front grille, fog lamp enclosures, air dam, alloy wheels, outside rear view mirrors and roof rails. The interiors are the same as the standard Ecosport.
The mechanicals are the same and the Ecosport is powered by the same 1.5 litre Petrol and diesel engine options and a 1.0 litre Ecoboost petrol variant mated to a 5 speed manual gearbox, while the top end 1.5 litre Petrol Titanium variant getting a 6 speed automatic gearbox option.
The Ecosport comes with several best-in-class features like SYNC with AppLink, Automatic headlamps, Signature light guide, DRLs, Electro-chromic mirror, Rain sensing wipers, Push button start and up to six airbags for enhanced level of protection.
