Ford will give the Figo a much needed facelifted and launch the car during Diwali festive season. The car was once again spotted at its home town, Chennai. Two Figo’s were caught testing on the NH45 near Maduranthagam.
The changes include slightly changes headlamps, tail lamps, slightly improved interior a few to list. The hatch will also get the new Kinetic Blue colour which was introduced on the new Fiesta. The car will get a hexagonal grille, a revised grille with a chrome stripe and the Oval Ford badge in the middle. The face lifted Figo will get a new design, 8 spoke Alloy wheel.
Ford has been conducting clinical trials at some dealers to gauge the feedback on new features. The Figo may get the start stop button which means one can start the car on a push of a button and keyless go.
Ford is also testing the new Fiesta Hatchback on the Indian roads and we can only hope the car makes it on the Indian roads. Ford needs more products in the Indian market to complement the Figo and a car under the Figo would be ideal. The next big launch from the American car maker is the new EcoSport SUV which the company will price very aggressively to take on the competition.
