Audi will launch its facelifted A4 sedan in the Indian market tomorrow in Mumbai. The A4 will now bear the new Audi Design language with the new grille and six chrome slots similar to the likes of the A6 & A8.
The refreshed A4 is a key rival to the recently revealed, sixth-generation BMW 3-series and the recently-updated Mercedes-Benz C-class. Audi has advanced the launch of the facelifted to take a head start in the booming luxury market.
The Audi A4 will retain the current engines and may get some slight tweaks which could mean a power boost. A big change is the new the headlamp cluster which now gets light scatter tech LEDs which throws a beam of light. The side profile stays the same while the tail gets ever so slightly freshened tail lights with LED clusters.
On the inside the A4 gets tweaked interiors which include Aluminium & walnut brown trims and a new MMI system. Overall the car remains largely same.
The Chassis to has been fine tuned a new electromechanical steering that replaces the old hydraulic unit. The engine options include a 1.8 TFSi, 2.0 TFSi and 3.0 TFSi (all petrol engines) and 2.0 TDi & 3.0 TDi diesel engines. The 1.8TFSi gets a new turbo which helps the engine produce more 10Ps taking the power output to 170Ps and a massive torque of 320Nm.
The prices will be upped by atleast 50k.
