Italian bike maker Ducati launched the Diavel in India. Internationally the sport cruiser is available in two-variants, standard and Carbon variant. The bike is priced at Rs. 17.06 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base, the Carbon variant is priced at Rs. 22.06 lakh and the top end Carbon Red variant is priced at Rs. 22.43 lakh.
The bike is packed with a host of technological features like ABS, Ducati Traction Control and Ducati Riding Modes.
The cruiser sports a 1198cc, 8 valves liquid-cooled V-twin Testastretta 11º engine mated to a siz speed gear box. The bike generates 162 hp @ 9500rpm and 127.5Nm of torque.

Ducati DIAVEL, the latest addition to DUCATI’s product range was unveiled in Bengaluru on 20th June, 2011 for India. Commencing with a Press Conference held at the new Ducati Showroom in Bengaluru, members of the media enjoyed direct contact with Mr. Mirko Bordiga, CEO, DUCATI Asia Pacific, Mr. Ashish Chordia, CEO, DUCATI India and Mr. Allum Preetham, Director, DUCATI Bengaluru.
