The Chevrolet Trailblazer made its world debut at 33rd Bangkok International Motor Show in Thailand. The Pick-up Passenger Vehicle (PPV) based on the Colorado goes into production the launch will happen very soon.
The Trailblazer will be powered by a two turbo-diesel engines
- 2.5-litre mill with 150PS of power and 350Nm of torque
- 2.8-litre mill with 180PS of power and 470Nm of torque
The engines will be mated to either a 5 speed manual or a six speed Automatic transmission.
Packed with a host of safety features like Hill Descent Control, Panic Brake Assist, Dynamic Rear Braking Proportioning, Engine Drag Control, Traction Control, ESC and ABS with EBD the Trailblazer will take on the likes of Toyota Fortuner, Ford Everest (Endeavour in India) and the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport.
Thailand has now become the hub for pickup trucks and is slowly becoming the hub for the Pick-up Passenger Vehicles (PPV) based on the same.
