The all new Chevrolet Sail sedan launch seems to be around the corner as the company has launched a teaser campaign on their Indian site. The Sail sedan will replace the Aveo and will be the second model from the SAIC JV with Chevrolet India.
The Sail sedan will be powered by a 1.3l SMARTECH turbo-charged diesel engine and a 1.2l SMARTECH petrol engine. The same engines are also strapped on the Sail U-VA hatch. The car is packed with safety features such as Speed sensitive Auto Door Locks, Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) and Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD) along with Passive Safety features such as Airbags, Seat Belts with Pre-tensioner, Crumple Zones, Collapsible Steering System & Side Impact Beams in the doors make it one of the safest cars in the class.
