Chevrolet is betting big on the Enjoy MPV to help the car maker enter the MPV league which has got just hotter with the launch of the all new Maruti Suzuki Ertiga.
The Chevrolet Enjoy MPV was unveiled at the 2012 Auto Expo and the name was later revealed via internet sources. The Enjoy MPV will be the third product from the SAIC-GM tie up in India. The first two will be the Sail twins: Sedan and Hatchback.
Thanks to our friends who got fresh images of the Enjoy MPV being tested. The MPV will get beige interiors to give it a roomy feel with a combination of grey. All variants are expected to have a 2+3+3 configuration and the suspension has been tuned by Lotus Engineering.
Among its comfort amenities is dual-row air-conditioning. It also provides outstanding ride and handling. High-strength and ultra-high-strength steel are used in the body and chassis. In addition, the MPV comes with a host of active and passive safety features such as dual air bags, safety belts with load limiters, anti-lock brakes and tubeless tyres.
The new Chevrolet MPV is designed for those who want a spacious, comfortable and well-styled vehicle to enjoy life with their loved ones. It offers space for large families, with flexi-seating and a choice of seven or eight seats. The MPV will also see a mid 2012 launch and will be sold initially with a 1.4-litre petrol engine churning out 94.6bhp.
The 1.3 Diesel engine could also be a second option and we feel this is a must as many customer won’t Enjoy petrol MPV considering the high fuel prices.
