Well the Tata Nano is in news for many accidents caused due to fire, however the little ewnder still has a huge fan following. After exporting the car to Sri Lanka and Nepal, Brazil has expressed interest in taking the world’s cheapest car – Tata Nano – to the South American nation.
Governor of Minas Gerais, the second most populous state of Brazil, Antonio Augusto Anastasia, who is here on 8-day visit to India, said he recently met Ratan Tata in Mumbai.
This could be milestone if the Nano does make a debut and will be the maiden entry for Tata in South Africa.
Tata Motors has been also looking at this market and testing other products from its portfolio.
The Vista, Manza, Safari and Xenon would be ideal to start with.
