Bajaj Auto has launched its fuel efficient and low emission RE-GDI autorickshaws in this coastal city.
The vehicle incorporates the latest Gasoline Technology – the Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI) engine, to achieve substantially lower emissions than even alternative clean fuels like Liquified Petoleum Gas (LPG) and Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) vehicles, company Sales and Marketing General Manager Sreeram Venkateshwaran told reporters here last night after the launch.
The cost of the autorickshaw is Rs. 1.17 lakh on road.
