German Luxury car maker Audi will open a new sales outlet opposite Harley Davidson showroom on the Miramar-Dona Paula road.
Currently situated in Porvorim the Audi dealership will move to the more upmarket Miramar area and complements the brand’s image. Audi Goa dealership owned by Mr. Venkat Muppana, Managing Director, Audi Goa (MVR Automobiles Pvt. Ltd)
The new dealership is much larger than the current one and will have a display of 3-4 cars.
In September 2012 Audi had officially opened its new dealership in Goa.
The service facility is located in Verna industrial area, Verna Salcete and will continue to offer all kinds of service and maintenance to existing and new customers. The facility is spread over an area of 8735 sq ft. and has a capacity to service 8 cars per day in 1 shift on a total of 4 bays.
Audi Goa has been finding it tough to increase sales in Goa which has been affected heavily due to mining ban and the overall slowdown.
On the other hand brands link Mercedes-Benz and BMW have been positing decent numbers. Even Jaguar Land Rover which does not have a dealership is doing good numbers.
The Audi model range in India includes the A3, A3 Cabriolet, new A4, A6, A8 L, Q3, Q5, Q7, TT Coupé, S5 Sportback, RS 6 Avant, RS 7 Sportback and R8 V10 plus sports car.
