German car maker Audi if offering testdrives of their popular cars A4, A6 sedans A7 sportback and Q5 SUV is Goa. The Pune dealership has organised this event on the 25th and 26th of February at Gasper Dias club Miramar. The drives will be offered from Morning 11.am to 8 pm.
Audi will start operation in Goa in a few months. The company plans to build a full fledged 3S facility which will include: Sales, Service and Spares.
Luxury car makers like BMW and Mercedes-Benz have already set up shops in Goa. The luxury car market is thriving with the latest cars and exotics zipping the roads.
The Audi A4 will get a facelift in the coming months and is currently offered in 2 petrol and 2 diesel engine options. The A6 is also comes with a choice of four powerful, highly efficient four and six-cylinder power plants. The two Petrol engines and two TDI units produce outputs between 130 kW (177 hp) to 220 kW (300 hp).
Petrol engines are the 3.0 TFSI V6 produces 220 kW (300 hp) and has a displacement of 2,995cc while the 2.8 FSI V6 produces 150 kW (204 hp) with a displacement of 2,773cc.
Diesel engines are the 3.0 TDI V6 generates 180 kW (245 hp) and has a displacement of 2,967cc, while the 2.0 TDI In-line 4 cylinder generates 130 kW (177 hp) with a displacement of 1,968cc.
The A7 sportback is available with two engine options; a 3.0-litre TDi V6 diesel engine with 245bhp and 500 Nm of torque from 1400rpm, and a 3.0-litre TFSi petrol engine delivers 290 bhp with 490 Nm of torque. Both the 3.0-litre diesel and 3.0-litre petrol variants are available for Rs. 64lakh, ex-showroom Delhi.
Audi Q5 Business Edition is priced at Rs.3,513,000 (ex-showroom Maharashtra). The Audi Q5 range is also powered by a petrol engine – the 2.0 TFSI q and a diesel engine – the 3.0 TDI q.
The Audi model range in India includes the Audi A4, Audi A6, Audi A8, Audi Q5, Audi Q7, Audi TT, the super sports car Audi R8 and the R8 Spyder.
