Audi India gave double good news with the launch of 2 new vehicles Audi A7 Sportback and RS5 Coupe.
The new models will help Audi India to further strengthen its position on the luxury market.
The A7 is available with two engine options; a 3.0-litre TDi V6 diesel engine with 245bhp and 500 Nm of torque from 1400rpm, and a 3.0-litre TFSi petrol engine delivers 290 bhp with 490 Nm of torque.
Both the 3.0-litre diesel and 3.0-litre petrol variants are available for Rs. 64lakh, ex-showroom Delhi. Deliveries of the A7 Sportback will commence from May. Audi India hopes to sell 200 units in 2011.
The RS5 gets a retuned 4.2-litre V8 motor from the R8, with an increase in power output which is now 444bhp at 8250rpm and developing a max torque of 440 Nm.
RS5 does a 0-100kph time of 4.6sec with a limited top speed of 250kph. The Rs5 coupe is priced at Rs. 76lakh, ex-showroom Delhi, and only 20-30 RS5 Coupes will make it to India.
