Italian scooter makes Piaggio has introduce a new sporty variant of the hot selling Aprilia SR150. The company has launched the SR150 RACE variant which is inspired by MotoGP’s globally popular RS-GP.
Priced at 70,288/- ex showroom Goa, SR150 RACE boasts of the aesthetics and ride quality of Aprilia’s RS-GP which competes in the MotoGP World Championship.
‘Designed for Racers, Built for Riders’, the key features of the SR 150 Race include RS-GP inspired body colour and graphics, red alloy wheels and suspension springs tuned for faster acceleration.
The Aprilia SR Race carries the SR 150 attributes like aggressive and sporty style, distinct handlebar, large 14? alloy wheels with five spokes and sporty design drawn from Aprilia racing bikes.
There are no mechanical changes the scooter and is powered by the same 150cc engine with max power of 10.4 bhp @ 6750 rpm and max torque of 11.4 Nm @ 5000 rpm. Suspension includes a hydraulic telescopic front fork and a single rear arm suspension.
Aprilia SR150 RACE bookings have started and delivers will begin in March 2017.
