Its been a long wait for the all new Swift. The was supposed to be launched somewhere in March and is delayed till July. Seems like Maruti wants to launch the car before other car makers like Toyota and Honda steal the show.
Swift which is doing roughly 10K plus numbers is a segment leader and has little threat from other cars in its segment.
The new Swift will be longer and a bit wider too. It will be powered by the same reliable K-series engines and the 1.3 Multijet. We expect the power to upped by a small amount.
The new Dzire will hit roads by Dec 2011 and will be an under 4 metres which help to decrease the cost by 40K.
The new Dzire will give the Indigo CS some good competition and could also steal sales.
Will Maruti be able to meet the high demand or if not….will the customers try some new cars from other car makers???
