Luxury car maker Audi India reported 98.41 per cent jump in its sales for April, 2011 at 375 units. The company had sold 189 units in the corresponding month last year.
During January-April period this year, the company’s sales increased by over two-fold to 1,986 units from 967 units in the year-ago period, it added.
Audi India launched a new variant of the Q5 and the R8 Roadster in the first three months. Audi India will be launching the A7 Sportback and RS5 coupe very soon.
“Audi India’s positive growth momentum is a result of our customer-centric approach, supplemented with the expansion of our dealer network and enhancement of our energetic product line,” Audi India Head Michael Perschke said.
