British Supercar maker Aston Martin launched its premium sports car in India. The cars are priced in the range of Rs. 1.35 crore to Rs. 20 crore.
“India represents a new opportunity for us and as part of our programme of growing the reach of the global Aston Martin dealership network, this expansion brings our brand to a different audience in a new market,” Aston Martin chief commercial officer Michael van der Sande said.
Aston Martin customers will be able to test-drive selected models from the entire range of V8 Vantage Coupe and Roadster, V12 Vantage, DB9 Coupe and Volante, DBS Coupe and Volante and the four-door sports car Rapide.
Aston Martin‘s flagship One-77 is priced at a whopping Rs 20 crore. The Vantage starts at 1.35 crore for the V8 while the Vantage V12 is priced at Rs. 1.55 crore. The Rapide four door coupe, which the company is banking on as the sales driver is priced at Rs. 2.15 crore.
Aston Martin will sell all its models in India expect the Cygnet small car. Infinity Cars on Pedder Road, Mumbai is the first dealer and another one will be opened shortly in Delhi.
Aston Martin have already got about 15 – 20 bookings and are positive to cash in on emerging markets like India.
