Hyundai India may launch the new Verna sooner then expected. The move comes with sagging sales of the Verna Transform which failed to attract new buyers. With the VW Vento almost decreasing the gap with market leader Honda City and Ford also set to launch the new Fiesta, Hyundai may just steal the show with its all new Verna.
According Autocar India Hyundai may launch the new Verna in 4 engine options with 2 petrol and 2 diesel engines. An all new 1.6 petrol and 1.4 petrol from the i20 may do the duty in the new car. While a all new 1.6 diesel and the 1.4 CRDI from the i20 will could be plonked in the car.
This will be first for an Indian car to be offered in 4 engine options. This could certainly change the game with car getting more buyers who have different parameters to choose a car.
