India’s third largest two-wheeler maker TVS, launched the much awaited Apache RTR 180 with ABS technology. This is the first bike in India under 200cc to feature ABS and also first by an Indian bike maker.
Jointly developed by TVS along with Continental Corporation, the ABS system prevents the brakes from locking under emergency situations and at the same time improves overall braking performance by reducing stopping distance and time in all weather conditions like dry or wet, thus helping in improving the overall safety of the rider.
With the ABS technology, an average rider will have 10-25 per cent quicker stopping distance on dry roads and 20-30 per cent on wet roads.
The Apache RTR 180 ABS,come at price of Rs. 78,880 (ex showroom). The bike is available only in white colour and comes with differentiating orange decals.
