Volkswagen India has confirmed it will bring the face lifted Jetta and Passat to India very soon.
“We will launch the new Jetta and new Passat in the Indian market in 2011,” Volkswagen Group’s Head of Marketing and PR (Passenger Cars) Lutz Kothe. The company assembles the Jetta and Passat in Skoda’s Aurangabad facility.
The price of the cars will be largely unchanged with a slight increase over the current price.
Volkswagen India which launched the Polo and Vento plans to scale production to meet the demand.
