Honda launched the new CBR150R FI in Thailand on 20th October. The bike is equipped with a 150cc, four-stroke, four-valves and liquid cooled engine. The new CBR150 is the first motorcycle in the 150cc segment to get Honda’s patented PGM-FI technology.
The fuel injection system meets the yet to be launched Euro6 emission norms. The engine is mated to a six-speed gear box and final chain drive. The new CBR150 features a new design headlight with side full cowling panels, split grab handles at rear and a tandem seat which offers a better riding position.
Honda may launch the bike in India, but we expect the bike to get a detuned engine.
Other features include a new LCD display odometer which displays engine temperature, fuel level, riding speed, and a digital clock. The bike gets tubeless tyres with a 100/80-17 unit at front and 130/70-17 at the rear.
The new offering gets disc brakes at the both ends and will available in three colour options. The new CBR150 FI is priced at THB 75,900 and will be on sale from 10th November. Honda has set a target of 10,000 units for the first year and is offering stylist jackets to the first 1,000 customers as a special promotion.
