The Volkswagen Beetle is expected a get a new life and the all new model will rolled out by late 2011. The new Beetle will get a longer wheeler base then the current model offering enhanced leg space. The spy pics are heavily disguised. According sources the new Beetle looks more sportier, will get more detailing in terms of higher quality materials and will draw more similarities from the original Beetle.
The new Beetle will be offered in petrol and diesel engines and the top variant will have a multi-link axle borrowed from the Jetta.
We can expect in India the new Beetle soon after the international launch. Looking at the decent numbers VW has sold in India, a CKD option would be ideal which will help increase numbers coupled with lower prices.
