Tata Motors is mulling a hike in the price of, Indica and Indigo, by a “significant” amount with effect from October 1.
Tata may also increase prices of its cheapest car Nano, as they also plan to launch the BSIV version soon and will also announce the opening re-booking of the Nano. Tata also re introduced the Indica diesel christened Indica Turbomax with a BSIV engine mainly targeted to the fleet operators.
Tata Motors may consider the price hike due to rise in input costs. Recently Maruti and Hyundai have hiked prices of its popular models.
