Maruti Suzuki launched the Ritz Genus. The Ritz, launched in May 2009, has sold over 86,400 units so far. It is powered by 1.2L K Series petrol engine with max output of 85 PS and 1.3L DDiS diesel unit that delivers a max output of 75 PS.
The special edition Ritz Genus feature list includes:

- Rear wash and wiper
- Integrated Radio + CD player with speaker
- Body side moldings
- Dual tone dashboard
- New `Emerald Blue’colour

Maruti will produce about 5,000 units of the limited edition, which is based on the current Vxi and Vdi versions, over the next three months in both petrol and diesel options.
