It was a great moment for Mahindra vehicle owners as the 60th edition of the Mahindra Great Escape, one of India’s most loved off-roading adventures, concluded successfully in Goa on Saturday 8th August.
Over 85 vehicles — from Goa and its neighbouring areas, including Mumbai — from the Mahindra stable participated in the challenging route. The rally was flagged off at 10am from Porvorim.
Mahindra SUVs like the Scorpio, Bolero, Getaway, Legend, Major and Classic negotiated an tough 75km route consisting of rocky terrain, slush, canals and streams. En route, the convoy of vehicles passed through the hamlets of Colvale, Revora, Pirna, Sirsaim, Assonora, Advalpal, Nanora, Ladfem and Bicholim before culminating at Porvorim.
Through the years, the great escape has acquired a reputation as one of India’s premier off- roading events.
