The new benchmark-the New Vento will be launched in India on 6th July at Delhi. This event will be webcasted live on an unprecedented scale in India. Goa on Wheels will be a part of this momentous exercise; to share this live for Indians and all those who love cars.
The event is held at ‘The Park’ hotel, Delhi from 2.00 pm to 4.30 pm.
The new Vento will be manufactured at Volkswagen’s plant in Chakan, Pune and has been completely designed to the needs and expectations of the Indian consumer.Once launched, the C-segment sedan would be pitted against models like Hyundai Verna Transform, Honda City, Toyota’s upcoming Etios sedan, Maruti Suzuki SX4, Ford Fiesta, etc. The Vento will available in both petrol and diesel versions and is estimated to be priced between Rs. 9-10 lakh.
The New Vento will be available in 1.6 diesel and petrol variants and will be available in manual and automatic (petrol version with AT) transmissions in the market.
Vento will complement Volkswagen’s already existing product line which includes the Passat, Jetta, Touareg, New Beetle, Phaeton and Polo.
