Tata Motors launches Winger Dicor in Goa

Tata Motors launched the new Winger Dicor in Goa which is now powered by a 2.2 litre Dicor engine and is BS4 complaint.

Design wise the Winger is the same as the current version and nothing much has changed.

The Dicor luxury variant is available with a flat roof A/C with a 9 +driver seating configuration with reclining seats and adjustable headrests.

Features standard on the Winger Dicor include Monocoque construction with low noise vibrations harness levels, Power steering, Sliding door for easy access, Least floor height, Mc Pherson Strut Independent Suspension, Stylized halogen headlamps, Stylish international design, 180 degree openable rear doors, Load sensing prominent valve and Uniquely placed 60 litre fuel tank.

You get the same beige dashboard and spacious interiors. Winger Dicor comes with the option of deluxe flat/ high roof with A/C and non A/C variants with 12 + driver or 13 + driver seating configuration with HI back seats

Mechanically the Winger has got its biggest update yet with a brand new 2.2 litre Dicor engine which is BS4 ready and produces 100 bhp of power and 190 NM of torque.  Power is sent to all the wheels via a 5 speed manual gearbox with an improved clutch operation thanks to the new 215 dia faction hydraulic Actuation clutch for easy shifting of gears.

Suspension duty is managed by McPherson Struts with coil spring at front and Double Parabolic leaf spring hydraulic telescopic shock absorber at the rear.

The Winger Dicor now gets higher oil drain interval and thus returns higher economy of 11.78 kmpl on the non A/C application on the highway and 10.2 kmpl in the city, while the A/C version returns 10.57 on the highway and 8.29 kmpl in the city.

Safety features include Load sensing positioning valve for effective and faster braking and Anti roll bar for roll over protection.

Tata motors have adhered to the AIS052 Bus body code complaint with fire extinguishers, vehicle disable switch for the co driver and battery cut off switch for the driver.

The company is offering warranty of 3 years/ 300,000 kms warranty whichever is earlier.

As a part of the launch celebration, Mr Jittesh Matonkar was handed over the keys to their brand new Winger Dicor.

Key applications on the Winger include Route application, Travel operators, Ambulance, Schools, BPO/ IT Staff transportation and hotels and hospitality.
