Maruti Suzuki has launched the new Alto 800 facelift in Goa. The Alto 800 facelift sports cosmetic changes to keep things fresh and updated interiors along with improved fuel efficiency and added two new colours Mojito Green and Cerulean Blue.
The Alto 800 facelift gets a new front end design, which includes a new slim front grille; new refreshed headlights cluster with amber turn indicators and new design front bumper with provision for fog lamps. While the rest of the car looks exactly like the earlier car and remains unchanged.
The interiors have received updates too which do include a darker Grey shade for the dashboard, an integrated audio system on the top spec Vxi and lighter shade trims for the door panels, integrated headrests for the rear seats and remote locking, child safety lock for the rear doors while driver airbag is optional.
The engine however is the same 796cc petrol 48 Ps three cylinder engine mated to a 5 speed gearbox. The car now delivers a higher mileage of 24.7 kmpl over the 22.7 kmpl of the previous car.
The Alto 800 is available with a driver airbag as an option from the base variant onwards. The passenger side ORVM is now a standard (finally J). On the higher trims the Alto 800 comes with a rear door child lock and front power windows. New convenience features like remote keyless entry, smart storage spaces like rear bottle holder and co-driver side map pocket have been introduced in the Alto 800.
