Maruti Suzuki has teased its new up – coming compact SUV, the Vitara Brezza which is scheduled to be unveiled on 3rd February at the Delhi Auto Expo. The Vitara Brezza name comes from Suzuki’s global SUV, The Vitara, while Brezza is the Italian term for fresh breeze.
The Vitara Brezza is the company’s first sub 4 metre SUV and will take on the popular Ford Ecosport and Mahindra TUV 300. The Vitara Brezza will be sold through the existing normal dealerships and not through NEXA.

Teaser images of the Vitara Brezza have revealed a single slat chrome grille, projector headlamps with day time running lights, while the turn indicators are placed lower down in the bumper above the fog lamps.
Powering the Vitara Breeza could be 1.2 litre petrol and a 1.3 litre diesel engine both mated to a 5 speed manual gearbox only and no automatic gearbox option will be available at time of launch. Safety features such as EBD and ABS will be standard across all variants.
Maruti Suzuki will unveil the production version of the Vitara Brezza at the 2016 Auto Expo and launch could follow very soon. Maruti Suzuki plans to showcase many new models at the 2016 Auto Expo such as Baleno RS, Ignis compact crossover and a new platform.
