Italian Supercar manufacturer Lamborghini has launched the rear wheel drive Huracan LP 580-2, a two-wheeled drive version of the legendary Italian sportscar marque’s popular Huracán coupe.
The Huracan LP 580-2 sports minor styling changes to the exterior along with a less powerful 5.2 litre V10 engine but is now rear wheel drive.
The Huracan LP 580-2 gets revised bumpers designed to increase downforce over the front wheels. The 19 inch alloy wheels get a different alloy wheel design along with bespoke Pirelli P – Zero tyres. The Huracan LP 580 – 2 gets all the features borrowed from the LP – 610 -4 AWD Huracan.
Powering the Huracan is a 5.2 litre V10 that makes 571 bhp at 53.1 kgm of torque. Power to the rear wheels is sent through a 7 speed dual clutch automatic gearbox. Lamborghini has further tweaked the ECU of the car to develop 75 percent of its torque at 1,000 rpm. The Supercar does 0-100km/h in 3.4 seconds, and has a max top speed of 320 km/h.
Weight distribution is biased 40% at the front / 60% at the rear, reducing inertia on the front axle. The selectable Lamborghini driving modes STRADA, SPORT and CORSA are tuned to provide oversteering characteristics, emphasizing authentic rear-wheel drive behaviour.
The car is priced at Rs. 2.99 crores Ex-showroom Delhi.
The Huracán LP 580-2 perfectly complements the the four wheel-drive Huracán LP 610-4 and the lifestyle appeal of the Huracán LP 610-4 Spyder range.
