Goa’s government bus service, Kadamba Transport Corporation Ltd (KTCL) has commenced services to Borivilli (Mumbai) & Hyderabad from Vasco on May 11. KTCL has introduced two new 43-seater Volvo air condition luxury buses which is going to be big boon to travelers especially Goans in Mumbai and Hyderabad.
The KTCL chairman Carlos Almeida has announced the luxury buses on Mumbai and Hyderabad routes, following a demand from Goan businessmen, service personnel and students staying in Mumbai and Hyderabad.
The buses plying on Borivali and Hyderabad routes will be equipped with electronic controls, anti skid devices, and elegant interior with television and video facilities.
The Vasco-Mumbai-Borivali bus will leave at 5.10 pm from Kadamba bus stand Vasco and will run via Panaji, Mapusa, Kankavali, Chembur. It will reach Borivali at 6 am the following day. The bus will leave Borivali at 5.30 pm on May 12.
The Vasco-Hyderabad bus will depart at 5 pm from Vasco KTC bus stand on May 11 and will run via Panaji, Mapusa, Sankhali, Chorla, Belgaum, Ganagapur, Gulbarga, Mehboob Nagar and would reach M G bus stand Hyderabad at 6.30 am. It will depart M G bus stand Hyderabad at 5.30 pm on May 12. The passengers travelling to Ganagapur can also avail the facility of Hyderabad bound Vasco KTCL bus. The KTCL have announced an introductory fare for the first 21 days.
