Mitsubishi Motors is planning to launch Pajero Sport in India. By mid-September, Mitsubishi will launch the Pajero Sport in two engine versions of 2.5 litre and 3.2 litre diesels, priced starting at Rs. 20.69 lakh.
With the sucess of the Toyota Fortuner Mitsubishi hopes the same with the new Pajero Sport. The Pajero Sport uses an All Wheel Control Super Select 4WD driveline which feeds maximum drive torque to the wheels with better grip. The Pajero Sport will come as a 7 seater with 3 rows of seats and the front seatbacks can recline completely to provide a flat surface together with the rear seats.
The Pajero sport is equipped with Active safety features life ABS and EBD. ABS keeps wheels from locking up to maintain control of the vehicle during hard emergency braking, preventing slipping and skidding. Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) assists by redistributing braking force to the rear brakes as needed, enabling quicker stops even when carrying passengers and heavy loads. It also comes with Dual Airbags in the front.
