Skoda India has launched yet another offer to promote the Rapid sedan. Under the new offer, Skoda Finance gives consumers a chance to own a Rapid and pay the EMI a year after the purchase. Customers can own the Rapid without worrying about paying the EMI in the first year. The balance amount can be paid through unique repayment options from 2014.
The offer will be valid for a limited period across the country. The company have introduced various schemes in the past to increase the sales of the Rapid sedan which is now averaging between 1200-1500 units per month.

The Rapid is based on the Vento platform which is doing decent numbers averaging 2000 units per month. Skoda sales have been down month-on-month and one reason to blame is the poor after sales and high price tag compared to competition.
Skoda needs to follow the parent company and announce a price drop making the products more attractive and affordable to own.
The company will soon be introducing the new identity and logo on the entire model line-up and will also launch the new Octavia in India by June.
