Tata Motors has taken a drastic step in the wake of declining sales and slashed the prices of the Manza Club Class diesel prices by Rs. 50,000. The diesel variant which is the biggest seller has been made more attractive. The petrol prices have been untouched with the base GLS model starting at Rs. 591,863. The difference between the petrol & the diesel is just approximately Rs. 8 ,000.
Tata Motors should have launched a marketing blitz: Buy a diesel at the price of the petrol.

The company has also introduced the ‘Club Class Buyback Assurance’. With the Club Class Buyback Assurance, Tata Motors offers its customers 60% of the purchase price after 3 years.
