Tata Motors will officially launch the Vista D90 on the 28th of January. The launch will happen in the national capital at the Buddh International Circuit. Seems like Tata Motors, really wants to have a thrilling launch, with the Vista D90’s squealing around the corners and fast lanes.
The Vista D90 will sport Fiat’s 1.3 Multjet Diesel engine which also does duty on the Manza sedan. The motor develops 88bhp with the help of a Variable Geometry Turbocharger (VGT) and torque is up from 190 to 200 Nm.
The biggest change will on the inside where the car gets the Manza dash layout, with the instrument console moving from the centre to behind the steering wheel of the car. The engineers have also worked on the suspension for better handling and stability.
The Tata Vista D90 will be available only in two variants – VX and ZX. The VX is priced at INR 6.03 lakhs and gets ABS and EBD. The ZX variant at INR 6.63 lakhs gets all the features available on the VX plus airbags and alloy wheels as well (ex-showroom, Mumbai).
The Vista D90 will also be available in a new Violet shade and will get black roof optional on the VX and standard on the ZX.
