Mahindra’s all new compact SUV, has registered over 5,000 bookings within 3 weeks of launch. Bookings for Quanto had opened across India from September 21, 2012. The compact SUV was launched on the 20th of September.
The buzz on the social media has been extraordinary. Mahindra became a favorite on Twitter, trending at No. 2 position with the Mahindra Quanto following closely at No. 4. The Quanto website had over 2 million page views in less than a week. And in a first ever for any Mahindra brand, Quanto became the No. 1 search on Google within 2 days of launch. The print campaign was launched nationally on 28 September, 2012, followed by the airing of the new TVC from 5 October, 2012.
The SUV is loaded with many high-end technology features such as the Digital Drive Assist System, Micro Hybrid Start Stop System, 1.5 litre-100 BHP mCR100 engine with twin turbochargers, Intellipark Reverse Assist, 2-DIN music system with CD, MP3, USB & Aux in etc. Quanto also comes loaded with safety features like ABS with EBD, dual airbags, high speed warning, engine immobilizer etc.
