Just a couple of day s back we posted of the Maruti Ritz facelift being tested in Gurgoan. Thanks Team-BHP.com member Revved_up who has posted images of the Maruti Ritz facelift which seems like being captured in Gurgaon plant.
The Ritz facelift has been due for quite sometime and the lunch has been delayed due to various reasons. But with the fresh pics the launch seems to be around the corner. We can expect the car to be launched around September just before the Ganesh Chaturti festival. During this festival customers are in high spirits to buy a new car.
Revved_up also spotted a petrol AT version of the Ritz. So can we presume Maruti is planning to launch a AT variant like they did it with the Dzire? This move certainly seems bold as i10 and A-Star are the only cars with an AT option.
The New Ritz with an AT option plonked on a diesel heart will be like cherry on cake and this could certainly be a seller considering there no models available with this configuration.
The facelifted Ritz will get a new grille with the plate dividing the grille in two parts, new design front and rear bumpers. The fog lamps are neatly placed in the scoops provided in the front bumper and the rear bumper gets air dam look alike slots which give the car a sporty look.

Interior design largely remains same expect new colour scheme. We hope India does not get beige interiors which has been a trend in the market. The Indian variant won’t get an automatic variant unlike the Japanese variant but this option would help to increase the sales especially of the petrol variant which has seen sales dwindling.
